I'm trying to put together a couple of playlists for yoga sessions and wondered if anyone has any recommendations.

Thanks!

There's so much to choose from, this has become a huge field. Personally, I like Rasa. Kim Waters sings a lot of Sanskrit. They have about 6 CDs, but my favorites are Union and Devotion.

Namaskar! Yes, there is much to choose from. Here are two completely different ideas. Russill Paul gives your yoga session a taste of India and Coyote Old Man gives you a native American sound. If you wanted to mix it up, you could add some Mantra Girl.

Hi Little Banyan, What kind of a class is this for? Are you teaching yoga or is this for home practice?

If you're looking for a CD that's perfect for a flow class, Jala is a playlist that you should listen to. It's made for a warmup, flow, and relaxation in a 75 minute yoga class. You could stop right there and end the class or meditate in silence for an additional 15 minutes.

It will be for 121 lessons so depending on the student at what pace the hatha will be. I would like to also use for my own practice and mostly these will be flows. I will check out all recommendations, thank you very much!

OK finally had a little look.

Ashmin - Couldn't find any of these, are they names of artists, cds or songs? Links if you have time : )

Yogananda - This sounds perfect, what do I search? I've tried Java music/cd but nothing.HELP!

Sandy - I already love Snatam Kaur and also liked Scared Stones for a more chilled calls and Feeling good was a good one!

Priyah - Yes would like a playlist for an hour and then one for an hour and a half to start and then build so I have many.

Thanks guys, keep them coming!

What do you like for Savasana? I have some lovely flute music I use for Reiki but would like a whole libary to mix up for students.
